Thornybush was more than we expected it to be! It was very well staffed, compact, and clean with its hutments being widely spaced in manicured, highly-shrubbed settings. The top row shows a pair of hutments and the large swimming pool adjacent to the Main Lodge.

The middle row, left to right, shows a typical hutment interior with each bedroom having a full bathroom and two closets; the quite spacious, attractively decorated main dining room; and the more than satisfactory buffet table set-up (In retrospect, we were buffeted to death!).

In the bottom row of photographs, eight of us are shown gathering around the main fireplace; Hilda Milton moving through the chow line; and at the far right, the camp’s moocher, the omnipresent stork.
