| Welcome to
our Class of 44's fourth website page devoted to the families
of your classmates. I'm Joe Logue whose photo is shown
at the top right that Webmaster Art took
(without my permission) from our 1944 Cornell Class of 1944 Yearbook,
page 61 to be exact.
There's a method
to his madness . . Our own Logue family photo will grace
this website, come \mid-January when
Jeanne will send him our XMas gathering photo for posting in
FAMILIES-5 the fifth set of 12 family photos. In doing this,
Art's has shown my
transition from 1943 Cornell student
to 2006 family grandpa, and I really don't think I've
aged that much.
You probably didn't
get to this website page by going through
the opening ding-a-ling animation with its pumpkin atop the Libe
Tower, music, and Ezra Cornell voice-over, but all three of us,
Jeanne, Art, and I want you to remember that this website is
dedicated to our progeny, yours and mine.
By actual count -
and less the 14 classmates of ours shown in the 12 family photos
- there are 153 sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, a
few greats, lots of sons- and daughters-in-law, and even an aunt
pictured herein . . That's “Progeny Plus!” .
. .
An open invitation
is extended to you as an active '44 to sit or stand with
five or more of your family members at a Christmas 2006 or later
family gathering and send in your (returnable) family photo
. . For captioning information, check the framed box above. The
website address to which you should forward your photo also appears
in this box. Yours for '44.
