Another great "Lobsterbake"
Were the lobsters from Maine? Rhode Island? No one really cared.

TOP ROW LEFT:  You're looking at our 40x100-foot tent erected behind Roberts Hall on the Ag campus -- A great OUTDOOR location for a Lobsterbake, particularly if it doesn't rain. If it did rain -- which it didn't - the Men's Rest Room was more than 50 yards away and in a downpour that would have made for one helluva sprint. (Ph: Al Barry).
MIDDLE: We contracted to employ and to get one bartender for EACH fifty people; this meant we needed FOUR -- they gave us just two and the two, as you might guess, were really quite busy! (Ph: Pete Bellis).
RIGHT: The clams and mussels just kept coming on and their set-up next to the bar was heavily hit during our Sip and Swallow cocktail period (Ph: Andy Capi).

BOTTOM ROW LEFT TO RIGHT: Harold Parker seems to prefer clams. Dotty and Jeanne Thoren in the background seem to prefer conversation  (Ph: Pete Bellis).
Bob Miller doesn't look like he's hurting as Sherrill Capi plants a big kiss on his cheek (Ph: Hank Bates).
While we had a separate Cook Tent set up, the ARAMARK firm that catered our Lobsterbake preferred to do their lobsters in ten pots located out in the open a good distance from the bar. The pots were then hand-carried by two huskys to the two serving tables on the east side of our main tent. This arrangement worked well and there were FOUR serving lines for the lobsters, fried chicken and other vittles (Ph: Andy Capi).
Cecily Carman and Sig Hoffman are shown stopping at the Lobsterbake's Tater and Veggie trays (Ph: Serena Hoffman).
